"You can't wear out an Indian Scout"
The Association's founder has passed peacefully in his sleep

It is with a heavy hearts that we must share the sad news of the passing of George Yarocki, Mr. 101. He passed peacefully in his sleep on the 25th of May in his family home in Torrington MA.

George was the founding father of the 101 Association and helped many 101 custodians breath life back into their machines. His house was often open to the people that shared his passion and his constitution was based on learning, understanding and preserving. He touched the hearts of many and memories of him will be held dear to those whose hearts he touched. His presence will be sorely missed.

Bud Wilkinson has written a wonderful tribute to George here.
